1934-2023

On 2 September 2023 at Papamoa Beach Village. Beloved husband of Margaret for 65 years. Most treasured and much-loved father and father-in-law of John and Sheryl, Vaughan, Scott, Christine, Michael and the late Catherine (Cate). Loved and respected grandfather of his ten grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill, I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away. I wrote it in the sky, but the wind blew it away. So, I wrote it in my heart and that’s where it will stay.
