Sadly, we have to advise family and friends that Douglas (Doug) Allenby Briscoe passed away on the 20^th of September 2023, just six weeks short of his 102^nd birthday. Doug was the adored husband of the late Margaret, and beloved father and father-in-law of Helen and Raymond, Brian and Jill, and Colin and Lynn. He was a wonderful Grampie to Sean, Carla, Robbie, Sara, Jarrod and Lloyd, and great-grandfather to Caitlin, Liam, Jacob, Zachary, Imogen, Holly and Anna. He will be greatly missed. We sincerely thank his doctor, Dr Anshu Sharma of the Epsom Medical Centre, together with the medical staff of Ward 14, Auckland Hospital, not only for the care and attention paid to Doug, but also for the support given to the family during his time in their care.  A service to remember Douglas Briscoe will be held at Eden Community Church 72-74 View Road, Mt Eden, Auckland on Thursday 28th September at 2:00pm.  Howick Funeral Home Auckland Ph 095347300
