Passed away peacefully in Tauranga on the 21st of September 2023 aged 89 years. Beloved wife to Peter Blackie (Deceased) and mother to Ralph Walles, Tony Walles (Deceased) Sandra Harris and Dianne Wallis. Grandmother to Amanda and Christina, Teressa and Karyn, Rebecca and Michael and her twelve great grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, Phyllis’s life was celebrated at a private gathering in Tauranga. Many thanks to the staff of Matua Rest Home for their support and care throughout her final months.
