Work is continuing along Cameron Road this week with a large focus on resurfacing.
"This work is usually carried out at night to minimise disruption, with lane closures and diversions in place," says a Tauranga City Council spokesperson.
Noise and vibration is associated with resurfacing, which involves the milling of the existing road surface before new asphalt is laid down and compacted.
When the weather conditions are dry, newly-asphalted roads can be driven on the next morning, so as the weather allows, the teams will be moving swiftly through each section in the coming months.
There will be lane closures and some diversions around these works.
"Please check the list below to see if any areas you are travelling to are affected so you can plan your journey accordingly."
