... of the moral bankruptcy of some of our youth. I believe the parents AND the youths should be liable and reparations for victims should be the first priority. Where parents claim their kids are out of control, then the kids should be removed to a remedial institution (Boot camp?) while the parents undergo compulsory training and counselling. Only when the Court is satisfied that required actions (including reparations to victims) have been completed, can the family be reunited. Repeated offending should incur stronger remedial actions, not excluding possible jail of parents. If you don't want your kids and don't care about them, then don't have them. If you do care about your kids then start taking responsibility for them and showing them proper norms and behaviour. Be a PARENT! If you feel at a loss and need help, ask for it.
