Vehicle crash and robbery in Te Puke

Police are making enquiries following a robbery in Te Puke on Wednesday afternoon.

"We received reports of a person stealing goods from a store on Jocelyn Street at 2pm," says a police spokesperson.

Police say threatening behaviour was reported.

Two-vehicle crash

Earlier, emergency services attended the scene of a vehicle crash in Te Puke.

Police responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash on King St/Jellicoe St at 1.50pm.

Police say the road was partly blocked for a short time.

There are no reports of injuries.
