Police impound four Greazy Dog motorcycles

Cambridge Police have this week impounded four motorbikes belonging to members of the Greazy Dogs motorcycle gang, following two instances where gang members failed to stop for Police.

Police signalled gang members to stop on two occasions earlier this month after observing them riding their motorcycles in a reckless and intimidating manner.

On both occasions, the gang members failed to stop for Police when signalled to do so.

The gang members were not pursued, due to the dangerous way they were riding their bikes, however follow-up enquiries were carried out.

These follow-up enquiries resulted in the execution of several search warrants at properties between Cambridge and Kihikihi this week.

Following these search warrants, four Harley Davidson motorcycles belonging to Greazy Dogs members were seized and impounded.

“Cambridge Police will not tolerate the reckless and aggressive behaviour on our roads that we observed from these gang members,” says Sergeant Benjamin Joll.

“Even if we are unable to apprehend the people responsible at the time, we will undertake whatever follow-up enquiries are necessary to hold these offenders to account.”

Accountability

Now make them prove how they paid for them with legal money. We have to prove how we paid for our homes when selling and buying.
Bikers need to be held accountable for how they paid for their toys ??? Etc

Unfortunately

They've probably used their drug and blood money and already replaced them.
Good job by our Police Force. Thank you NZ Police.

Reduce the intimidation

Don't return the bikes until they are brought back to a Warrant of Fitness standard. This in particular includes a correct level exhaust system. Part of their intimidation tactics include aggressive noise. Plus deal to the people who alter these machines and illegally issue WOF certs.
