Police are making enquries to locate a fourth person after arresting three others following a robbery in Hamilton last weekend.
Police have arrested three teenaged boys following the aggravated robbery of a Waikato Liquor store in which the shop owner was injured.
"About 9.25pm on Saturday December 16, four masked individuals entered a liquor store on Whatawhata Road in Dinsdale and allegedly assaulted two workers," says Waikato District Criminal Investigations Manager, Detective Inspector Graham Pitkethley.
One worker suffered injuries to his head and hand after he challenged the assailants during the incident.
Detective Inspector Pitkethley says he received treatment in hospital and is now recovering at home.
"Police have yesterday apprehended two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old in relation to the incident," saysDetective Inspector Pitkethley.
"Investigators are following strong lines of enquiry to locate a fourth individual."
