Police are making enquiries following an incident in Tauriko on Saturday afternoon.

Police say they have received reports of a group of what is believed to be young people kicking cars, and acting disorderly at a retail premises on Taurikura Drive, Tauriko.

The incident happened around 3.50pm.

A SunLive reader at the scene says "a bunch of youths have attacked a customer at PaknSave at the [Tauranga] crossing".

"It appears there was a fight where some people received injuries," says a police spokesperson.

"Police spoke with those involved and enquiries are ongoing."
