Aged 70 years, on 12 February 2024. Loved husband of Josie, and the late Julie Hill. Much loved father of Graeme, Rachel and Jolene. Adored Grandad of Vaughan, Alison, Vitia, and Immogen. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John spent his formative years in Tauranga, moving to Auckland in the 80’sand his final years back in Tauranga. Master tinkerer, John wore many hats as shunter for NZ Rail, a Chinese cook at Weymouth Takeaways, and CEO of Sudserella Laundry. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
