Reports are coming in of a crash in Welcome Bay.
Police were advised at 3.15pm that a pedestrian had been struck by a car on Arawata Avenue, between Corinna Street and Dingadee Street.
Police spokesman says the pedestrian was initially reported to have serious injuries.
