On 5th May 2024 Hazel passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at CHT Bernadette Mt Maunganui. Aged 96 years. 

Dearly loved wife of the late Taeke and loving Mum, of Muriel and Richard Brown, Arendina and Stan Lowe, Isabel and Graeme Goodall and Theo and Karen Struiksma.

Loved Granny of her 12 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren. 

At Hazels request a private service has been held. Hazels family would like to say thanks you to the staff at CHT Bernadette for their dedicated care to Hazel during her stay there.
