Born in Tauranga on 24 October 1926, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Tauranga Hospital on 29 May 2024, aged 97.

Loved daughter of the late Albert and Mabel Blackburn, wife of the late William (Bin) Prole (of Omokoroa), mother and mother-in-law of Steve and Linda, and grandmother of Brandon and Dylan. Special thanks to Leonora and Wendy for your unwavering loving care of Audrey in the latter years of her life.

A requiem mass to celebrate Audrey’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Cnr Cameron Road and Elizabeth St, Tauranga, on Saturday 1 June 2024 at 10am.
