Police are attending a motorcycle and car crash scene on Maunganui Road.

A police spokesperson says police were advised of the crash at 8.45 am. 

"Initial information suggests the motorbike crashed into the rear of the car," says the spokesperson. 

Enquiries are ongoing regarding injuries.
