Traffic delays are being reported on Takitimu Drive, near the Taurnaga Harbour Bridge.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says there appears to be either a car broken down of a crash near the Bridge Marina.
"Traffic in the Mount bound lane is backed-up as far as Elizabeth St."
Another caller say traffic is also delays on Hewletts Road.
Google's live traffic reporting shows there are delays in the area.
People are advised to avoid the area, or expect delays.

Just normal traffic

Nothing unusual, just a lot of cars on the 'expressway' and the queue builds up due to the Hewletts road traffic lights .
There was a broken down car off to the side of the road on the Mount side but was not blocking a lane.
The new congestion area is around the Blake park to New World area , where the new road layouts seem to be designed to stop traffic.
