UPDATE: Emergency services are at the scene of a three car crash on State Highway 29.
A police spokesperson says they were called to the crash at 12.25pm.
Hato Hone St John was notified of the crash at 12.20pm and responded two ambulances, one rapid response unit, and one manager to the scene.
"Our crews assessed and treated one patient in a moderate condition who was transported to Tauranga hospital, and five patients in a minor condition were treated at the scene," says a St John spokesperson.
A police spokesperson says the Tauranga-bound lane is described as being partially blocked, with traffic going around the crash.
"All three cars need towing."

Reports are coming in of a crash on State Highway 29.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says multiple vehicles have crash on SH29, near the one-way bridge past Old Kaimai Road.
The caller says emergency services have been called.
"People should avoid the area."
A post on the Bay of Plenty & Waikato Accidents & Traffic Information Facebook page says there are multiple police and ambulances heading towards the Kaimai Range.
Google's live traffic reporting shows there are delays in the area.
