Emergency services are at the scene of a vehicle fire on the Kaimai Range.

"Police were notified of a vehicle on fire on SH29 near Hanga Road, around 3.11pm," says a police spokesperson.

"There are no reports of injuries at this stage.

"The Northbound Lane is blocked, motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays."
