At least one person is injured after a crash on Omanawa Road SH29.

"Police and emergency services were called at about 3.30pm today to attend a two-three car nose to tail crash," says a police spokesperson. 

"It appears at least one vehicle occupant has some minor injuries. 

"This is reported as being on Omanawa Road SH29 in the Western Bay of Plenty. 

"A tow vehicle has recently arrived at the scene and the area should be cleared soon."
