Died peacefully in the presence of Terry. Married for 68 years, holding Val's hand to the last. Her four children gathered together while mum took her leave.

Cherished mum and mother-in-law of Peter and Shelley, Deborah and Alastair, Michael and Cheryl, Lisa and Jason.

Loved Grandma Val to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Val was the matriarch of the family. Witty to the end. 

A service for Val will be held at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Thursday, August 29 at 10.00am.
