Now summer has arrived Tauranga Farmers Market is in full swing, bringing a vibrant selection of seasonal produce straight from the growers.
“Fresh, juicy berries, sweet watermelon, crisp corn, and vibrant capsicums are just a few of the delicious options available,” said market manager Megan McVeigh.
As you stroll through the market – on Saturdays from 7.45am-12 noon at Tauranga Primary School – you’ll also find your weekly essentials.
“We have stalls selling bread, dairy products, flowers, kombucha, pickles, juice and much more – all sourced from the best local suppliers.”
McVeigh said the market is the perfect place to enjoy the morning sunshine while supporting the community directly.
“Sip on a hot coffee, treat yourself to a tasty brunch, and listen to the live music that fills the air, welcoming atmosphere.
“The kids will love the open space to play with the games or on the playground while you take in the market and catch up with friends.
“Whether you’re stocking up on fresh produce or simply enjoying the lively surroundings, there’s something for everyone at Tauranga Farmers Market. Make it your go-to spot this summer for a fun and flavorful start to your weekend.”
The market runs every Saturday from 7.45am-12 noon year-round – rain or shine! – at Tauranga Primary School grounds at the corner of Cameron Rd and Fifth Ave, Tauranga.
