Skycity Northern Knights captain Scott Styris is out of today's HRV Cup domestic Twenty20 clash with the Auckland Aces at Mount Maunganui this afternoon.

Northern Knights captain Scott Styris will be replaced by James Marshall at today's HRV Cup test match at the Bay Cricket Oval today.

Scott injured a hamstring in last night's Big Bash match between his Hobart Hurricanes and the Adelaide Strikers.

He remains in Hobart to have scans early this week to determine the extent of the injury.

James Marshall will take over as captain of the Northern Knights during the match against the Auckland Aces at the Bay of Plenty Cricket Cricket Oval in Mount Maunganui today.

The game starts at 4.30pm today.
