Bay development team named

The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union has announced its development squad for the season with a strong mix of club players from across the region.

Following the end of the club season and the start of the ITM Cup, coach Kane Parker has snapped up the next wave of exciting talent with the belief these players could possibly be Steamers of the future.

A total of 32 players have been named in this year's Bay of Plenty Development squad.

The squad features players from a variety of districts around the Bay acknowledging the performances of the clubs in their competitions.

The side will play eight matches in the next two months with the feature clash set down for September 14 when they host Auckland B at the Tauranga Domain.
