The Merivale community is in shock following the discovery of a man's body at a Kesteven Ave property.
The body, believed to be that of a 52-year-old man, was found by neighbours at about 10am directly beside Merivale School.

Police are treating the death as suspicious and have cordoned off the area as they and ESR examine the scene.

Talking to SunLive this afternoon, Merivale Community Centre general manager John Fletcher says everyone is in shock.
'He is known to us and has been an integral part of the community.
'It's just a tragedy.”
John says the man was an important person in the community and played a big role in keeping the area safe.
'At this stage we don't know exactly what has happened. We are all still in shock about what's happened. There are a lot rumours going around but nothing has been confirmed.”
John says the centre will be open tomorrow for those who want to come in and talk about what has happened.
'We will be here for anyone who wants to come and talk.”
Merivale School will be closed tomorrow as police continue to investigate the man's death and examine the area.
Police want to hear from anyone in the area, last night or this morning, who has any information that may assist with the investigation.
