Riverbend tournament set to begin

The next step in the Western Bay of Plenty age group cricket pathway, will take place with two Year Eight rep teams playing in the Hawkes Bay Riverbend cricket tournament, that kicks off next Monday.

Bay of Plenty Black Cap Kane Williamson.

Bay of Plenty Black Caps Kane Williamson and Trent Boult are two noted graduates of the Western Bay age group cricket pathway.

Current Northern Knights in Daniel Flynn, Graeme Aldridge, Jono Boult, Joe Carter, Tony Goodin and Bharat Popli have also progressed along the Western Bay of Plenty passageway to professional cricket.
