A driver's attempts to exit the Greerton Countdown carpark have come up short when they ended up mounting their car on a rock wall.
Police and St John paramedics were called the scene on Cameron Road, outside the supermarket, about 3.20pm after reports the four door hatchback was stuck on a small wall near the footpath.

A caller into SunLive says it appears a lady has driven up onto the wall while exiting the supermarket's carpark.
A Greerton Produce employee nearby says she wasn't aware of the accident until a customer came into the store.
She says a St John Ambulance was at the scene but has since left. It is not known if the driver was taken away by paramedics.
Tauranga Police Sergeant Scott Merritt says police are still at the scene and a tow truck has arrived.

No prizes for guessing the age of this driver, lucky no pedestrians were killed....

One has to wonder if the proposed 'driver-less' cars would end up doing this too?
