Revenge will be on the agenda of both Mount Maunganui and R&A Sangha XI, after both losing their WBOPCA Reserve Grade season unbeaten record recently.

The big mover last week was Otumoetai Cadets who have grabbed a share of the lead with Mount Maunganui.

The match-up between Mount Maunganui and Katikati, will feature a head to head contest between the Reserve Grade top run scorer and wicket taker.

Mount Maunganui batsman Russell Williams has raced to 196 runs in the new season and will be the danger man for the Mount at Ferguson Park.

Targeting Williams will be Katikati and former Thames Valley representative Matt Earl, who heads the bowlers tally with nine wickets.

Defending Reserve Grade title holders R&A Sangha, were upset by Te Puke last week and will have the opportunity to regain winning form against Tauranga Boys College second XI.

But the Tauranga Boys youngsters could prove a thorn in the side of the defending champions at Nicholson Field.

Cadets will wish to anchor their place at the top of the ladder and have a good opportunity against bottom of the table Greerton.

Te Puke will be buoyed by last week's win over the Sangha XI and should have a good battle with season new comers Sikh Sports who also posted their first win last weekend.

Long time B Grade contenders Grasshoppers, share the lead at the top of the standings, with Cadets and the Singh XI from Te Puke.

On Saturday the Hoppers should have little trouble with Greerton on the number one grass wicket at Ferguson Park.

A head to head battle between joint leaders Cadets and the Singh XI will grab plenty of attention at Centennial Park in Te Puke.

Katikati should prove too strong for Albion at Ferguson Park, with Mount Maunganui and Wanderers squaring off on the grass at Blake Park.
