Katikati and Cadets are sitting in the box seat to meet in the WBOPCA Reserve Grade T20 Final, to be played out at Ferguson Park on Saturday.

Entering the third round of preliminary play on the weekend, the Katikati and Cadets sides sit astride their respective qualifying pool point's tables, with unbeaten records in last weekend's first two rounds.

At the completion of round three, the top team from each pool of play, will fight out the 2015 Reserve Grade T20 title in a late afternoon match.

In Pool One Katikati will play bottom of the table Te Puke. Mount Maunganui need to comprehensively defeat R&A Sangha and hope Te Puke gets up against the side from the Western Bay extremities.

The formbook would suggest that Cadets should beat Sikh Sports to book a place in the title decider. Greerton who square off with Tauranga Boys College, are in the same position as the Mount, needing to win and a Sikh Sports upset for Greerton to have any chance of making the grand final.

A quartet of B Grade sides, have their eyes on the Knockout Cup prize after winning through to the semi-finals last weekend.

Long-time B Grade heavyweights Grasshoppers, will wear the favourites mantle when they go into their match-up with Mount Maunganui.

A battle of attrition is likely to take place in the game between Katikati and the Singh XI, who finished second and third respectively in the pre-holiday season title race.

First Round competition winners, Cadets will be favoured to go on and take out the Plate competition, after being upset by the Sikh XI last weekend.

On Saturday they meet last year's B Grade champions Wanderers, in a match that could go down to the wire. Long-time rivals Albion and Greerton will play out the second Plate semi-final.
