The Thames-Coromandel District Council is reminding locals the summer schedule for kerbside rubbish collections will continue until the end of January.
Kerbside collections will not be carried out a day later this week following the long weekend and collections will happen on the Thames Coast today and in Thames tomorrow as normal.
Below is the schedule of kerbside collections that will take place this week:
TODAY:
Whitianga town, Mercury Bay North, Coromandel Rural North: black bins, blue bags and green crates. Blue bags only for Thames Coast and Manaia this fortnight as usual.
WEDNESDAY:
Coromandel town, Te Kouma and Thames week 2: blue bags, black bins and green crates
Thames week 1: blue bags only
Whangamata, Pauanui: blue bags and green crates
THURSDAY:
Whangamata, Onemana, Opoutere, Mercury Bay South: blue bags and green crates
Pauanui and Tairua: black bins, blue bags and green crates
Thames South Rural: blue bags
FRIDAY:
Whitianga town, Mercury Bay North, Coromandel Rural North: blue bags and green crates
SATURDAY:
Whangamata, Onemana, Opoutere: black bins, blue bags and green crates
Pauanui: blue bags and green crates
Mercury Bay South: black bins
