Car crashes into power pole

UPDATED 7.31AM: A car has crashed into a power pole on Fraser Street.

Emergency services were called to the crash, which is located between Esk Street and Alverstoke Road, at 7.10am.

"A car has hit a power pole and all emergency services are on way to scene, however they are awaiting for the power company to turn power off from pole, before going in to assess the patient," says a police spokesperson.

EARLIER:

Reports are coming in of a crash on Fraser Street.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a car has hit a power pole near Yatton Park.

"Firefighters are at the scene.

"One person appears to still be in the vehicle and it looks like the power lines have come down."

Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area or avoid the scene if possible until the crash scene is cleared.

The pole must have been runnign across the road... and the car followed it for a king hit, WOW!

Or maybe someone had a serious medical problem that caused the accident. And by the way what does runnign mean.Sometimes people try to be humorous but they end up being ridiculous Wow!
