A large police presence has been spotted in Brookfield this morning.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says police were stopping people from entering Kingswood Road.

A photographer at the scene says multiple police units were seen on Kingswood Road, near Clifton Terrace.

"There are six in total along with unmarked dog wagon, the dog had been put back into the wagon and police are still in the area."

A police spokesperson says police are executing a pre-planned search warrant in the area.
