Papa, Opa and loved by many, Anton passed away on 24 November 2022 aged 94.

We will be gathering to celebrate his life at 11am at St Mary Immaculate in Tauranga on Monday 28 November 2022.

Born in Wassenaar in The Netherlands on 04 April 1928, Anton lived an adventurous life, emigrating with his family to Aotearoa in 1970, and seeing out his last years in Mt Maunganui by the beach which he loved.

Papa to Annemarie, Ton, Lucas and Monica. Opa to thirteen grandchildren: Nathan, Lydia, Esther, Suzanna, Dominic, Rosie, Hugo, David, Matthew, Dora, Isabella, Shawnie and Nicole; and eight great-grandchildren: Timothy, Evie, Asher, Ashlley, Alexander, Tyler, Alba and Beau. Husband to Nelleke van Paridon for 28 years.

Anton died peacefully at Tauranga Hospital with his dear friend Anchen at his side after a brief illness.
