Passed away peacefully at home on 14 January 2023 after a short illness aged 56 years. Dearly loved husband of Bernie and devoted father of Gina. Loved son of Theo and Jo van der Lee, and brother of Theo and Louise, the late Simon, Bernadette, Alma and Nigel, Anthony and Karin. Cherished uncle of Jacob, Marieka, Luke, Savanna, Yasmin, and Chloe. Until we meet again, rest in peace Ruben.

A celebration of Ruben's life is to be held at Legacy Gardens, 53 Te Okuroa Drive, Papamoa on Monday 23rd January 2023 at 2.00pm.
