Fresh water community drop ins are continuing this week as part of a series of sessions across the Bay of Plenty region.
The 13 ‘Freshwater Management Units' – FMUs – are being held throughout April and May.
'This is a good time for you to give your feedback, because they are draft and have not been considered or adopted by your elected Councillors yet,” says a Bay of Plenty Regional Council spokesperson.
From January to March, council staff were out raising awareness about freshwater areas and meeting people at the Te Puke and Tauranga A&P shows, the Kuirau Park Market, Rangitaiki River Festival and Waka ama event at Lake Tikitapu.
A BOPRC Freshwater community drop in for Ohiwa Harbour is happening this evening Monday May 15 at the Nukuhou North Settlers Halle, SH2, Waimana.
