Reports are coming in of a crash on State Highway 29.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says there is a crash on the bridge between Poripori and Ruahihi roads.

"The highway looks to be completely blocked."

People are being advised to avoid the scene.

Google Maps' live reporting shows traffic is stalled in both directions on SH29.
