Stop-go traffic management is currently in place on State Highway 2, through the Karangahake Gorge.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is reporting delays on the road due to a fallen tree.
"Due to a fallen tree partially blocking a section of SH2 south of Paeroa, stop/go traffic management is in place," says an update from the roading agency.
"Allow extra time and drive with care."
