A road is closed in Taupo after a logging truck crash.

A police spokesperson says Lake Terrace near the SH1 intersection is closed as a logging truck has rolled. 

"Police were notified at 1.12pm, thankfully there doesn't appear to be any injuries. 

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. 

"The road is expected to be closed for a couple of hours."
