A section of State Highway 27 to Matamata is closed following a milk tanker crash this morning.
The accident happened about two kilometres north of the State Highway 29 intersection on the Waikato side of the Kaimais.

At 9.20am police northern communications reported the road was expected to be re-open shortly.
The road was closed at 8am, forcing detours for north bound traffic.
