Pams brand cassava vege crisps are being recalled due to an undeclared allergen.

The original 150g bags are being pulled from shelves due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (milk), says a statement on the Ministry of Primary Industries website.

The affected product has a best before date of October 19, 2021.

MPI says the product is sold at Pak'nSave, New World, and Four Square stores throughout New Zealand.

'The recall does not affect any other Pams brand products.

'No other flavours or batches of the product are affected.”

Customers are asked to check the best before date on the back of the product.

'People with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” says an MPI statement.

'If you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.

'If you are not allergic or intolerant to milk, this recall does not affect you.

'Customers with a milk allergy or intolerance should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.”
