The sun is out, and it's a perfect match and family fun day as Bay of Plenty takes on Tasman in week eight of the 2023 Bunnings Warehouse NPC at Tauranga Domain on Sunday afternoon.
Kids go free for the Steamers versus Tasman battle and match day on the local turf.
Gates open at 11am with three featured events for the day.
The Nga Kura A Iwi U18 Boys play against the Pacific Island Rugby U18 Boys with kick-off at 11.35am.
the Bay of Plenty Steamers v Tasman game kicks off at 2.05pm, and the Three Dukes Homes Half Time Tackle 5s is happening at 2.50pm.
Food will be available for purchase inside Gate 2. The Steamies trailer will be serving up delicious Maketu Pies and espresso coffee, Banger Boys, Hashtag, ice cream and more. .
Take up to three kids up to 15 years old for free for every paying adult. Free tickets must be registered for online and will be required to scan at gates.
A great idea is to save $5 on your adult ticket by pre-purchasing online ahead of the day.
Online purchase prices are students $15, adults $25 + transaction fee - and kids (0-15) go free. Gate sales - Add $5 per ticket
There's also an opportunity to elevate your rugby experience with a VIP Hospitality package. Individual tickets or tables of 5 or 10 available. Ticket includes access to VIP marquee and food and beverage.

Painting and drawing demonstrations are being held today, cards will be for sale and the Tauranga Floral Art group will be guest exhibitors. Also come along and see who has won the Supreme Art Award, the top honour for Tauranga Society of Artists members. Have your say on your favourite painting and vote in the People's Choice Award. This is a gold coin donation event held at Tauranga Boys' College gymnasium, and runs from 9am - 4pm today Sunday, October 1.

The STEM Festival is on today from 10am - 4pm on Durham Street. The main entrance into the event is from Elizabeth Street. The festival designed to engage and inspire a new generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians.
