Bring your pals and pooches to Tauranga’s first Healthy Pets NZ Dogs Day Out at Tauranga Racecourse from 9am - 2.30pm.  Come with the whole family, dogs included, for a fun-filled day of demos, have-a-gos and a dog-centric market area.  Anyone and their pooch can come. Dogs must be on a lead and please pick up after your dog. Entry is by gold coin donation, and dogs have free entry!

All eyes will be on the last Quarter Final of the week, with the Battle of the Bay Round 2!  Bay of Plenty Steamers take on Hawke's Bay this afternoon. Who will be securing the final position in the semi-finals, keeping their team's dream of lifting the Bunnings NPC trophy for 2023 alive? Gates open at 1pm with kick off at 2.05pm. There will be half time entertainment at 2.50pm. Kids Under 5 - free, kids 5 to 15 - $5, adults from $10.

Do you love Shakespeare? Would you like to be a part of this Summer’s outdoor Shakespeare production in Tauranga, The Tempest directed by local thespian Pascal Tibbits?
Auditions are being held from 12pm - 3pm, today, Sunday, October 8, at the Cliff Road Building, 51 Cliff Road, Tauranga by the carpark. Show dates will be in February 2024.

A Multiples charity golf event is being held  todayat the Summerhill Estate Golf Club. The goal of the event is to raise money to support our wonderful Multiples community - families of twins and triplets in the Bay of Plenty.Grab some family,friends and work colleagues and create a team of four or join as an individual and be placed in a team in the Ambrose Tournament $35 for an individual or $120 for a team of four.
